Leadership
Your manager will hold regular development meetings with you based on our competency model. They will provide guidance, explain the strategy, and give you all the information you need to decide for yourself how to create the greatest value for both yourself and codecentric. They take your preferences into account when planning your role in the new project and can connect you with people who can provide additional support. They serve as your sparring partner, door opener, or sounding board.
Colleagues
Your colleagues have a huge impact on your development. They give you helpful feedback, inspire you, and motivate you. They share their knowledge and experience with you – whether through projects, internal workshops, or training sessions – so you don’t repeat their mistakes. They support you and are there for you when you ask for help or need a second opinion to think an idea through to the very end. If you’d like, they can also take on your mentoring and coaching or act as your guides.
Personal Development – Mentors
You can turn to mentors from our network of colleagues to support your personal or professional growth. They have the relevant experience and expertise to work with you to
- determine the focus of your development,
- explore your potential and interests together,
- work out what you want to achieve,
- and define achievable steps that you can take at your own pace.
Mentors are connected with one another and within codecentric and can recommend contacts, training opportunities, and tools to help you achieve your goals.
coaches4codecentric
Our coaches are there to help you with specific questions, issues, or conflicts you’d like to address. You’ll benefit not only from their knowledge but also from their experience in working with clients. The sessions take place during OffProject Time. Your coaches will use effective questioning techniques to help you work on yourself – all in complete confidence.
Juniors & Talent Development Program
Whether you’re an intern, a working student, or just starting your career in IT – we’ll prepare you for your first interactions with clients. We won’t throw you in at the deep end. In our talent development program, you’ll start by honing your soft skills, practicing teamwork, and receiving guidance and support from experienced consultants as you work on coding tasks for internal or external projects. You’ll learn from and alongside them, building a rich toolkit of methods and gaining the project experience needed to succeed in client projects.
In addition, as part of our Talent Development Program, we are also sponsors of the Germany Scholarship and support one scholarship recipient annually at the University of Wuppertal.
