OVHcloud's data centers meet the highest international standards – including ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 (data protection). If you have even higher requirements, the platform also offers security standards on par with SecNumCloud (the rigorous French ANSSI certification for cloud security).

Your data is securely stored in OVHcloud’s ISO 27001-certified data center in Frankfurt am Main. Upon request, we can also store your backups in a geo-redundant manner at the OVHcloud data center in Gravelines, France.

By default, the packages include the GitLab Enterprise Edition at the Free Tier. If you need features from the Premium or Ultimate Edition, you can simply add them to your plan. All Managed GitLab packages have a minimum term of 12 months.

Yes, absolutely. As your team or your needs grow, you can seamlessly upgrade to a larger plan or a custom enterprise setup at any time.

Managed GitLab supports a wide range of identity providers—including Azure AD and Google. Vendor-neutral protocols such as OAuth and SAML are also supported. In addition to these methods, LDAP configuration is possible.

By default, we provide GitLab as a Service to you using the following format: gitlab.customer.developerhighway.de. Upon request, we can also configure the domain as follows: gitlab.your_domain.xyz

Before we get started, we’ll ask for the most important technical and organizational details via a short online form. These include:

We operate each Managed GitLab instance in a dedicated, isolated environment (single-tenant). We use OVHcloud’s resilient compute and storage resources – distributed across multiple availability zones (Multi-AZ) upon request. Combined with our automated 24/7 monitoring and daily backups (optionally stored in a geo-redundant location in France), we ensure maximum uptime for your platform.

Yes, you can easily register your own GitLab Runners and use them in your instance. Please note that you are responsible for maintaining and operating these Runners.

The Standard Runner does not support Docker-in-Docker. If you need DinD, our add-on for Dynamic CI (the privileged plan) offers specially secured CI environments where you can safely use Docker-in-Docker.

We currently do not offer managed macOS CI runners. However, you can register your own macOS runners and manage them through the GitLab interface.

Since you have access to the full range of GitLab features, you can easily integrate Mattermost. However, we do not currently support standalone Mattermost operation as part of the standard Managed GitLab offering.
